Introduction : Nurses are an integral part of patient care and play important role in improving the quality hospital. have a responsibility to ensure safety with reliable guaranteed competence. Nurse competence must be maintained through continuous professional development. Objective The purpose this study was map level participation, driving inhibiting factors for implementation Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. Method This used cross-sectional design quantitative descriptive approach. population all RSI nurses total sample 104 survey participants purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using online questionnaire google form application from June September 2020. Results results participation at Surabaya Islamic Hospital carrying out CPD activities which divided into 3 categories, namely high, medium low participation. A (17.3%) belonged (69.2%) (13.5%) classified as high. Conclusion Short-term development plans priority nurses' thinking (CPD), fulfillment complete nursing practices increasing clinical career level. long-term plan is that some want continue educational programs higher such specialized education master's degree <w:LsdExcept
